New Book Published by Bab'l Books

Bab'l books has just released my newest children's book-

 The Emperor's New Bicycle. 

Bab'l Books is an amazing company. 

They are working to bring bilingual books to all of those kids who have been learning English, but come from a multi-racial or different cultural backgrounds. 

They are translating all of these English versions into over 12 different languages. 

But instead of having just one language in the book-- they have both languages in each book, 

so as you read, you can reference each one. 

Making it easier for the child to retain their native language, or learn it.

My book is available in Vietnamese and Spanish at the moment, but more will be available soon. Right now only the kindle edition is available but the hard copy is going to be released very soon!! Can't wait.

More Rings Up!

I've just posted more of these rings! These are all hand-painted with oils and sealed with resin. 

They are a really neat keepsake if you have me paint someone you love.

 I've had a few commissions that have been really special to do for people. 

Either way, I just love the idea of them. People back in the late 1700's used to have them done after someone had either passed away, or they used them to conceal the identity of secret lovers. 

We humans are so sentimental. And beautiful at thinking of ways to display those sentiments.
