West Elm Workshop Interview

 Hey hey- here's the video that I was interviewed for our West Elm Workshop on November 14th. A big thank you to Craft Lake City, Angela Brown, Karamea Puriri, and Liz Oliveras. It was so fun to have everyone come out and enjoy the evening painting mugs!!

Black Friday Sale.

I've never been a huge Black Friday person... I have really only done it twice truthfully. (Although today I ended up buying a pretty great dress!) City Creek was dead at 7:00 am which surprised me- I was in DC last year and it was nuts- some of the shops refused to open until the crowd stopped pushing against the gates and formed lines. This year I was sure the new mall here would be packed. But I guess most people were tired after shopping all night the night before. I saw on the news one lady brought a U-Haul truck to Toy R Us which I thought was excessive... (Who are these people!?)

Travels.

 

B & I are going to India in February. Our Indian friend is getting married, and we thought it would be an excellent experience, especially since it will be a traditional arranged marriage. 

B has been to India before- he back-packed around with his 2 buddies and they had a lot of good times. In the first few weeks of dating, he told me his favorite places in the world were his grandmother's backyard and The Golden Temple in Amritsar. We are headed there this trip too, so he can show me. 

I can't wait. 

Another really big perk of this trip is our route there. We fly directly to Paris, and get to stay there a whole day and a night before we go to New Delhi. 

My dream come true. I will say hello to Paris once again.

Giraffe Suited.

My husband dressed up as a giraffe for Halloween this year.. and really, this is what he looked like. So this is inspired by him. I guess this is the girl version of it.
